STOP PRESS!! We are in the process of spring-cleaning the NLE Buyers Guide - everything will be renewed in time for the NAB Convention. If you know of a nonlinear video product that isn't already in the guide, including turnkey systems and hardware and software packages, then please let us know.

From the announcements we have received already, this year's NAB Convention will be another HD fest with plenty to see in terms of acquisition and production. The event will also showcase various technology and educational pavilions including NAB-HD and the UltraHigh-Definition & 3D-HDTV Theater. NAB-HD will be a functioning station right on the exhibit floor, providing a hands-on look at everything that goes into putting together an HD television operation from capture to editing to delivery. The UltraHigh-Definition & 3D-HDTV Theater will feature cutting-edge TV systems from NHK Science and Technical Research Laboratories. Ultrahigh-Definition TV has a large, wide-screen video image and 22.2 multichannel audio, which claims to give a feeling of immersion in the reproduced scene.
