The majority of the news in this bumper edition comes from IBC 2008. Congratulations to the organisers for a record attendance of 49,250, and for the number of world-first demonstrations. Most notable amongst these being the first international transmission of Super Hi-Vision content and the first-ever transatlantic telecast in high-definition 3D.
