The MacroSystem HDV Recorder provides real time, full resolution display of HDV material. With this technology, you may now efficiently archive, duplicate and view HDV footage, without compromising the resolution through compression and lengthy conversion times.

The MacroSystem HDV Recorder continues the MacroSystem legacy of providing cutting-edge technologies that are easy-to-use. This exceptional product serves HDV demands that are not currently answered by other products on the market today. If you work with the higher resolution HDV signals, the MacroSystem HDV Recorder is the ideal addition to your studio as it is compatible with all HDV camcorders, recorders and HDV editing applications.

The console includes a removable 250 gigabyte hard drive, providing up to 30 project partitions to store up to 23 hours of HDV material. The HDV Recorder is compatible with all HDV formats: 720p, 1080i, NTSC and PAL and a single hard drive can contain any combination of these formats!

MacroSystem HDV Recorder HDD/RT is the only solution on the market for the display of full resolution HDV material on small monitors (23"). Editors usually do not want to edit on 37" HDTV sets. The 23" monitors do not have component analogue inputs, just VGA and DVI (PC monitors). The HDV Recorder HDD/RT converts HDV to DVI and VGA in real time.
