S.two supports all ARRI D-20 features (18/9/2007)

S.two Corporation of Reno, NV, USA has announced that a collaborative effort with ARRI was responsible for bringing digital film makers increased integration between the ARRIFLEX D-20 digital cinematic camera and S.two DFR2(tm) & Take2(tm) uncompressed digital field recorders. S.two has also chosen IBC to announce more feature support for the Sony F23 digital camera.

Steve Roach S.two VP of Marketing commented, "Our DFR2(tm) and Take2(tm) disk-based uncompressed field recorders are the first recorders of any kind to support every mode of operation offered by the ARRI D-20 digital cinematography camera - variable frame rates up to 60fps and raw data recording in addition to 4:4:4 RGB. We have also added 60P and variable frame rate support to the already impressive list of features supported in the Sony F23 camera."

During IBC S.two will, as promised, demonstrate the production model of the DFR4Kª (uncompressed 4K digital field recorder) on the DALSA booth # 11.351 as part of a total 4K uncompressed workflow demonstration.
