Snell & Wilcox and Calrec Audio today announced that the Kahuna SD/HD multiformat production switcher is now fully integrated with the complete line of digital consoles from Calrec Audio. The close integration of the Snell & Wilcox Kahuna with Calrec Audio consoles allows a single operator to control audio and video levels from the Kahuna interface. By centralizing control at a single point, this solution enables users of the Kahuna and Calrec Audio systems to reduce the operational requirements of smaller productions and thus lower overall production costs.

Snell & Wilcox implemented the Calrec Audio remote protocol to enable remote control of fader modules on any Calrec Audio digital console via the Kahuna production switcher.
